At Linden Lab, I turned wireframes and style guides into working, good looking elements of the Second Life viewer. Often I worked without specific design guidance, giving me the freedom to arrange features in the way that made the most sense.

ALA and SLA hold meetings and even career fairs in Second Life, but if you're not already a Second Life user these events might seem too intimidating to attend. I walked my classmates at Simmons College through the basics of setting up a new Second Life account, how to move around, how to find where the events are happening, and what to wear.

During the Fall 2009 semester, I took a course called Web Development and Information Architecture. I was led through the process of creating the architecture, designing, and developing this website. For the class, I made a mood board, wireframe, creative brief, and usability test plan, all of which helped me turn my rough ideas into code.
Henry Bear's Park
When Henry Bear's Park started sending regular newsletters to their customers, they were using a template provided by the email marketer Constant Contact, but within a few months I mocked up and started using a custom newsletter template that was more consistent to the store branding.
